It's coming on 5 am here in Puerto Rico after a day that started around 8:30 am. I've worked insane hours and have already extended my trip once, will have to do it again tomorrow. Am doing a load of laundry as the hotel system is down and they can't rebook me a room just yet.
You'd think I'd be out on the town having fun. You'd be dead wrong. I went out once for fast food chicken and some blank CDs, and another time to get away long enough to get a soda. Since Sunday.
Yeah, bummer.
Good news is I have to leave to go to another town tomorrow. To do all this server build fun again. Meh.
Anywho, some things I've noticed about our repugnant political masters and their lackeys this week. Basically, a quick hit list of Republican repression.
First off, apparently gay Republicans are getting scarce on the political landscape. That's what joining up with intolerant bigots will get you.
But hey, they still have time to be racist. Californians who are Latino immigrants are receiving mailers warning them that they'll be arrested if they vote. Yes, we're talking about scaring away American citizens to help a Republican win.
John McCain, losing more dignity every day, says he's kill himself if the Democrats take control of the Senate. Still trying to convince me he's an independent man of the people? Save your breath.
Last of all is heineous fiend Rush Limbaugh, who argues that there is no such thing as an abortion done to save the life of the mother. Real compassionate conservatism on display for ya.
I'll be busy the rest of the week as I have been so far but I wanted to blow off some steam. Have a good one.
