Here's a tongue-in-cheek article about Obama "not knowing his place". Which, when you get right down to it, is the Republican argument against him.
You can hear Ol' Man McCain muttering, "don't that boy know that he bes' not try bossin' white folk around?"
Bob Herbert, at the New York Times just cuts to the damn chase, and God bless him for doing so. McCain's entire strategy IS Jesse Helm's style Republican campaigning. Obama is black. Fear him. FEAR HIM!!!!. He might sleep with white women if you don't stop him!! Or something like that.
Sadly, this has worked for these miscreants before.
