Game 5 of the World Series was suspended yesterday due to rain and will not be completed today either. Instead, Game 6 will be bumped and the rest of Game 5 will be played tomorrow, weather permitting.
The game is tied 2-2 (box score) with the Phillies potentially winning the Series if they can pull out a win. More info if you want it.
The cool notion, ratings-wise, is that this is pretty good drama for what has been an underwatched Series (even I haven't watched more than a game). But for Phillies (Pennsylvania) and Rays (Florida) fans, they'll have to wait for Barack Obama to deliver his Presidential pitch, the 30 minute ad time he bought a few weeks ago.
So hey, maybe more folks in some battleground states get to watch him. And maybe I get drawn into watching another ballgame. Win, win.
