Hopefully, this is the end of the whore doll craze. The maker of Bratz, those disgusting toys that teach our nation's little girls that it is okay to paint on makeup, look like a slut and be anorexic-thin, have been ordered to stop production.
Granted, the ruling allows Mattel to go ahead and make a similar toy, but I really hope they won't.
For as damaging as teaching boys to mindlessly shoot everything as a solution to every problem is a bad thing, so is teaching young girls that emulating street hookers is a "good" thing.
Thankfully, I don't have a baby girl, but I definitely feel for those parents who won't have to worry about having to explain why they aren't buying this crap once the holiday season ends.
