The compassionate conservatives are at it again.
In Colorado, a senator hopes women have AIDS babies for having sex out of wedlock. I guess that's what qualifies as "family values" these days?
In California, a mayor had to resign (thankfully) after sending out an email that stated the Obamas were canceling the annual Easter Egg Hunt because of the watermelon patch they had planted at the White House. He still wants to stay on the city council of course.

Meanwhile, another "patriot" tried sending the President a letter with HIV-infected blood in it. One, isn't that an assassination attempt? Two, given modern medicine, isn't this the longest lasting assassination attempt in world history?
Well, no one ever accused the GOP of catching the smart voters.
