According to a recent Pew poll, 54 percent of Talibangelicals support torture.
Turns out that so-called Christians have no problems torturing people. I would further surmise that they probably get wood even thinking about using thumbscrews on a Muslim.
I'm not theologian but I am damned sure Jesus Christ would reject these idiots immediately. Then again, seeing as these are the same folks who watched the snuff film known as "The Passion of the Christ" about a dozen times or more, he probably already knew they were deranged.
To be fair, non-evangelicals mostly did not support torture for any reason. Too bad their voices aren't heard in our national discourse.
And you wonder why I avoid going to church.
