Once again, given the way the loudest of the Talibangelicals brands Christianity as a hate-mongering bigot fest, it is no surprise that our nation's young are turning away from religion. And hey, they aren't alone. It sure the hell can't be easy to be Muslim either, with Osama et al screaming death on one side and the GOP wanting to torture, deport, or kill you on the other.
Peace? Love? Brotherhood? Sure, you can find these things in a religious community, but you'll have to look harder than you used to.
