Op-Ed: Cut Health Care Spending On The Elderly : NPR

Here's an interesting take, and only if you take the time to read/listen to it. In short, our current system pushes us to spend tons of money on end-of-life health care. According to this interview, think of how much we could save if we just stopped and asked the elderly patients what they thought of how their treatment should be.

And yes, this involves discussing living wills in advance.
