Fine, okay, it's a blog already!

The BBC tries to get to the bottom of this particular brand of political name calling.

What is clear is that calling someone a fascist delves into muddy waters. What is for sure though, a fascist is definitely not a liberal. You are either talking about racists, or corporate-owned government types who hate democracy, or just general jingoistic thugs.

While this may not necessarily mean the GOP is fascist - at least applies to every Republican - it sure as hell makes it a useless tag to put on most Democrats, particularly the President.

Granted, most of you probably already knew this, but I just wanted an authoritative source to add more proof that whoever is running or ramrodding the GOP are complete idiots divorced from reality, logic, or truth.
