One of the things (and there are many) that bugs me about religion is how sexist the whole thing is. Women are put up on a pedestal, particularly in Chrisitanity...and then left there to rot.
No female priests. Women forced to cover up in Islam. And so on. Hell, a woman tries to gain any personal achievement and historically she is killed as a witch.
Nice to know I'm in good company for questioning this.
