How do you go wrong with Dr. Seuss? I am looking forward to picking up this "new" book with stories most of us have never read.

This comes to mind as I have been having some unfriending issues online. Seems a lot of conservatives think it is cute to misquote Ted Geisel and other liberals, twisting their words or poetic forms to advocate mean spirited things, up to and including "jokes" about murdering certain black presidents of the United States.

Dr. Seuss had a lot of good lessons for our kids. NONE of them involved segregating others and advocating violence as good things to promote. Assassination as humor was never a thing or skeeches, loraxes, Whos, and just plain people.

It is odious to be that kind of person. And I am more than glad to separate myself from that ilk.
