The right wing went after - and destroyed - ACORN, which basically got poor folks registered to vote. Meanwhile, ALEC is still in business, pushing for the right to shoot anyone whose skin color you don't like and making it possible to disenfranchise the same poor and minority folks ACORN was assaulted for giving a damn about.
The world ain't fair.
