The Gulf War isn't the only conflict Bush should be remembered for.

Given the other Republican presidents he is lumped in with, he's a cut above the rest. But he enabled Reagan, created the path his son used to get to power, and helped create the cast of characters that still remain advising Trump.

His hands are by no means clean, but he has passed and in the main he did his best to serve this nation. That's a lot of "if"s and "but"s, I know.
