Snow Cover Can Have a Dramatic Effect on Temperatures
No snow on the ground begets warmer temps which keep the snow away. Your brain probably can make that conclusion, but it is nice to have it confirmed by science.
That said, after a really warm day tomorrow we might be done for. The cold is coming back and likely the snow.
And what the hell? It IS winter. It IS Minnesota. And the farmers probably need the moisture and I like to eat.
So thanks for the reprieve. Now let’s get this over with.
