Great discussion on security from a guy who makes a lot of sense on the subject. Enjoy.

Santorum’s war on teleprompters – CNN Political Ticker – CNN.com Blogs
Rick Santorum hates teleprompters and wants them outlawed.
He hates birth control and wants it outlawed.
He hates abortion – and, really, who doesn’t when it comes down to it? (which is why I support birth control) – and wants it outlawed (which most of us do not).
He hates the separation of church and state and presumably wants it outlawed.
He hates higher education (despite having multiple degrees) and calls those who want it for all Americans “snobs”. He even homeschools his kids to keep them away from public education.
When will he come out against electricity? Against the repeal of the right of women to vote? Or the repeal of slavery?
How far back does he want to drag America back? Presumably before the founding on this nation.

The Bible, re-examined | Minnesota Public Radio News
Been meaning to post this for months. Really good discussion, particularly because the Bishop is unapologetic in denouncing his uninformed opponents.
Admiral Ackbar speaks: The Erik Bauersfeld interview – YouTube
Very cool. He didn’t even know why he’s a cult icon since he doesn’t know the movies. Amazing how some folks’ bit work carries much further than they imagine.
U.S. News – Election, economy spark explosive growth of militias
Militia membership is on the rise and yet no one seems to be doing a whole hell of a lot to reign in these domestic terrorists.
Considering many of them hate the government and positively are abhorred by the reality that the President is not a white man, you’d think that would be enough to round ’em up and throw away the key. I mean, just a glance at the violence promised on their websites should be all the threat you need. I can’t walk up to someone and promised to pop a bullet into their children’s heads without *at least* a future discussion with a law enforcement official, yet these folks seem to be able to do the same and much, much worse all the time.
Why? What do we gain by allowing this? What does it say when we pick and choose who the law applies to?
Obama: War ‘is not a game. There’s nothing casual about it’ | Jay Bookman
THE foreign policy problem. Until they realize the world isn’t a video game and soldiers aren’t made of plastic, none of these folks deserves the responsibility of being Commander in Chief.
