The bells are still ringing, for the last 1,000 years – CBS News Video
As with the sword story from the other day, I love watching folks carry on old traditions of skill and art, and having fun doing so.
Sadly, I can’t find the original video for this story, but I believe I have a follow-up one where this particular foundry ending up closing a few years later.

Ardbeg Space Whisky
One of my favorite authors is Daniel Keys Moran. He wrote – and is picking up the job of writing – a series called the Tales of the Continuing Time.

Can good music be made in a canoe? | Minnesota Public Radio
I am sure the boy is going to rebel or just end up listening to something I consider absolute crap. That is how it goes after all.
In the meantime I am on the hunt for something we both might get into and heard about these guys awhile back.
More here.
Annnnnd here as well.
The “retro-future” of “The Jetsons” – CBS News
Catching up on some stories I meant to pass along. This was a nice look at our past future. Maybe we’ll still see it’s like in our lifetimes.
