On the heels of one story about how the local county is becoming more left-of-center, here is one on how the whole state has set itself as an enclave for those merely trying to be their best selves.
Yeah, that’s it. No agenda, not trying to piss anyone off. Just trying to rugged individual in ways narrow minded folks do not understand, but should agree is their right to do so. But intellectual comprehension is not anything I have expected from conservatives for a very, very long time.

Hmm, the key takeaway here is that smarter people don’t vote for insurrectionists. Mostly, because giving a shit pays dividends to society and makes a better community.
Funny how a lot of folks can’t figure that out. Glad we moved here when we did.
Migration pains
One of the things I regret are not being able to migrate some posts from long ago. Basically, Flash. It died and when I can’t find a newer form of the video, it is lost to the ages.
Similar problem when some news sites never migrated video. At best there’s a transcript but often not even that.
Some things age poorly. But not to be a hypocrite, I will keep those posts when possible. At one time these were folks I listened to. Whether they or I changed is up for grabs.
One thing I really find myself doing is over posting images. At times I would make a sampling of images, like a This Modern Met post on Chinese cultural groups. I had only posted about a half dozen originally. This time I put all they had. My on-site data storage is climbing fast but at least I will have the items in question unless *my* servers die.
Raspberry Pi Connect
You can remote to your Raspberry Pi now. Which is cool.
Too bad they have been hard to find since the pandemic. Newest I have is a Pi 3, which this won’t work on.
