Scott Walker Falls for Killer Prank by Liberal Blogger Posing as Right-Winger Sugar Daddy David Koch | AlterNet

A liberal blogger recorded this on Skype. He swears it is true and David Korn over at Mother Jones says the governor’s office confirms it. More confirmation here.

Mother Jones has some more on the story and some background on Walker’s debt to the Koch Brothers.

One of the points by “Fake David Koch” was to get Walker to agree to infiltrating the union protesters with violent plants to cause trouble. Walker, who already thought of this and for the moment rejected it, demurs.

That said, Tea Baggers are already doing this<‘/a>.

In Georgia, Tea Bagging Traitors are planning to bring guns to a SEIU solidarity rally. Yeah, it isn’t enough to want to take your rights, conservatives want to start a gun battle.

Guess I was never wrong calling them Talibangelicals, was I?

In Indiana, a Deputy Attorney General there wants to use live ammunition on the protesters.

Such “compassionate” conservatives these are.

But let’s be honest here. These folks would NOT be in power if voters would pay attention to what they are voting for, and the programs the cretins running are to pass.

Republicans (still) hate women.

Legislation pending in Georgia would make it a crime to have a miscarriage. Not just any old crime either, a charge potentially punishable by death.

Any family who has had to deal with a miscarriage can attest to how painful it is. To have some Talibangelical bureaucrat play religious police and haul your wife off to prison to be executed? Yeah, that just doesn’t belong in America. Ever.

Why We Need Unions | Mother Jones

I was raised in what was apparently a fairly radical home so I really don’t see the argument against unions. I haven’t been in one for years but I have no problem supporting them. Like all things, yes, they are subject to poor and even criminal leadership, but hell, you still put your money in banks and people still vote Republican, right?

Pro-Union Website ‘Defend Wisconsin’ Blocked In Capitol

Well, I found ONE thing Republicans LOVE: censorship.

Only conservatives could want to censor a website that wants to Defend Wisconsin.

Granted, that site wants to defend the rights of Wisconsin public employees to not be steamrolled by pro-business Republican governors/dictats, but the sentiment is the same.

When those in power work to limit the speech of the ruled, particularly those they are hoping to oppress, you know what side justice is on.

Republicans hate…volunteers

Apparently it isn’t enough to hate women, minorities, kids, Elmo, and teachers who want their rights. Now they are going after Americorps, which helps brings teachers and tutors to places folks normally don’t want to work in this nation. So basically, this is a plan to screw over kids in the urban cities as well as tribal kids in remote parts of America. Judge the motivation for that level of hatred however you will.

These guys keep finding new ways to screw over honest Americans while fighting for tax breaks for millionaires and oil companies. I know which group *I* side with.

How the middle class became the underclass

In case you weren’t paying attention, the rich really ARE getting richer.

More importantly, our increasingly middle class is not.

It used to be that everyone had a fairly good shot at gaining a lot of money. Up until the first one to three milllion taxes weren’t too bad. After that, you got the 90+ percent taxes the GOP tries to scare you with. Let’s rehash that. After you made a few million dollars IN A YEAR you got most of the rest taxed.

That’s how this country ran. That’s how wealth is created and, yes, redistributed for the good of the nation.

Now? The rich have a MUCH lower tax rate. Obviously at some point you can’t buy any more. So the rich invest. The riskier the investment, the more profit you make. Profit, mind you, that doesn’t get taxed at more than 15%. That’s the capital gains tax you might have heard of. Republicans say it is a double tax. It would be if the initial investment were taxed; which it isn’t.

Let’s put it this way. If a rich investor “wins” a million in the stock market, he only pays 15% on the million. If YOU win the lottery, you have to pay taxes on it like it’s income. Why? Because the GOP only rigged the system for the investor, not you.

Same thing with the estate tax, also called the “death tax” by Republican marketing goons. They say this hurts family farms. It doesn’t. At least, none but the absolute largest ones. No, this is BS to distract you from the fact that wealthy kids – let’s say the Kardashians or Hiltons – can have it all by literally doing nothing useful with their lives.

Sorry, I’m venting but there’s a really our economy is lagging. Rich folks with money burning a whole in their pocket are betting in commodities and the stock market. Those bets are destabilizing markets so you have to pay more for gas, food, your house. Because their bets wash out what normally would be taking place. Instead of blindly throwing darts, many of those markets used to be full of estimates made by folks who worry about the supply and demand of refineries, pigs, corn, beaver pelts, whatever. Now that educated approach is washed out by rich dullards just looking to make even more money.

For the rest of us? We’ve got assholes like Governor Scott Walker in Wisconsin trying to make people mad at teachers for having worked for better job conditions and benefits than the rest of us. Can you believe that? They have been pensions, and it’s THEIR fault? FAULT? We’re supposed to hate folks who have NOT gotten screwed by business or conservatives in general? The worst part is that such a line of argument works!

It makes me sick to see what we’ve come to as a people. Our wages haven’t gone up and they buy a lot less. Meanwhile, the folks who have more, keep getting more – at our expense – and we’re supposed to hate the folks who work hard, go to school to know more, serve our society for less than what they could make in the private sector.
