Yeah, the GOP and their Corporate masters don’t want the government to protect consumers from items made by slave and child labor because they might lose some money on the deal. The article highlighting this evil belief in Mammon over humanity Rachel refers to can be found here.
So, not only do they hate women, Republican fascists (yeah, that’s the term for politicians who get on all fours for corporate interests) want you to buy slave-made goods so their puppet masters can save a few bucks.
Though I tend to agree with the commenters that Y2K was a mixed bag as I remember there being a LOT of work to prevent anything bad from happening, the rest of the items on this list are pretty much slam dunk examples on how to screw up big time.
I love love this.
Rethugs think that showing up to a rally in a public park constitutes the same act of protest as an act of civil disobedience on a military/corporate shipyard and then get offended when their term of choice is better known in this day and age as a sex act.
Both concepts equally show the logical and moral bankrupty of the Republican Party.
I am glad the President is now using the common derogatory term for what are, frankly, idiots and traitors to this nation.
I am glad the Democrats may be in danger of growing a spine. Why continue to be bullied by a party full of assholes too chicken to serve in our military or too spoiled to actually perform their duty when they actually do weasel into a stateside Guard unit?
