Our communities are being terrorized by masked, armed insurrectionists and the state government is waiting for a judge to say it is okay if we can be protected by law enforcement and the National Guard.
The business community? Either silent or providing services to the kidnappers.
Provided we make it through this, remember who did not have your back.

Outrage after CBS pulls 60 Minutes segment on El Salvador’s Cecot prison
The new MAGAt overlords at CBS crushed a story about Trump’s prison in El Salvador. What the hell else have they hidden from us?
Anyway, some Canadians found it, aired it, and now it is internet famous. As it should be. Give it a view, then maybe donate to archive.org and whoever else still has the stones to actually show us how the world is.
CBS Sunday Morning: When the employed are pushed into homelessness
This country, and the system it runs on, is horrible and hurts the people that keep it running.
CBS Sunday Morning: In Maine, a cafe helps subsidize a community newspaper
I find it hard to trust newspapers anymore. They are either owned by horrible people or companies that are horrible people, or local conservatives that are, well, often horrible people. That said, when you see one try to stay in business while truly reporting on their community, you want to root for them.
Biologist cautions next generation against trusting a career with the federal government
Well, they did it.
Republicans broke regular citizen’s trust of government. Now they are warning others never to trust the feds.
We could win back every major office, reorient the Supreme Court and it wouldn’t mean a goddamned thing because our best and brightest are done with the project. Call it a country, carve it up, and let’s let the idiots suffer in their hate-filled hellholes. We have a future to reclaim.
‘We went from invisible to visible’: Indigenous activist Leonard Peltier navigates changed political landscape
We have a long way to go to get to racial justice, but Peltier’s release is a good example that progress has been made. Slowly for sure, but it exists if you squint a bit.
Charlie Kirk tributes run contrary to sports’ uniting power
This is almost refreshing given that almost all of the NFL and a lot of other sports teams have seen fit to honor a bigot and a racist.
Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan steps out on her own in Senate race
Can’t wait to vote for Flanagan. She’s good people. That said, I wish Tina Smith was staying to fight and that Klobuchar was taking her “let’s play ball with Rafi Cruz” show away from the Senate.
Who’s the Socialist Now?
Pointing out conservative hypocrisy is about all the fun we are allowed these days.
It doesn’t help solve any of our problems – and facts do not work on MAGAts – but it is good to throw some reality out there.
Things like racism is the GOP platform, Reagan destroyed society, no Republican president has improved the economy is decades, if ever, and that fascism is their current economic model.
Why does the Maga elite love conspicuous cosmetic surgery?

There are few things more bizarre than the physical transformation of MAGAts into filler-filled fuckfaces that you see all the time now.
It is a waste of money and resources and, well, it is just plain ugly.
My thoughts? It might be necessary since they are all Devil’s Advocate demons now.
