Pabst Blue Ribbon Is Classy and Expensive in China – TIME NewsFeed

Apparently in China, PBR is incredibly classy and expensive.
Considering I once spent an evening in Muscatine, Iowa on a throne of stacked beer cases, drinking a case of cold PBRs while wearing a Burger King crown with a beer label slapped on it, I dare you to say that beer is classy.
Drinkable, party worthy, but classy? Nah. And that case didn’t cost us much more than $20 if memory serves.

Little did I know that the UK has tens of thousands of pint glass injuries every year, costing the nation almost 3 billion pounds a year in medical costs. They are now working on a shatter-proof pint glass to reduce these injuries.

I love that this trend is back.
It’s always fun to get attached to a local brew and then be able to take some home. Growlers are key to this ritual and should I ever live in a place that has good regional microbrews again, I’ll be using this service.
