How Notre Dame Students Battled The Klan 100 Years Ago
I talk a fair bit of smack about Notre Dame. Their fans are often odious. The school itself expects everyone to bend the rules for them.
But, hey, it wasn’t always like this. They once stood up to the Klan, and that’s worth something. Right?
Teaching kids about Thanksgiving or Columbus? They deserve the real story

Not a fish story: the DNR’s Minnesota State Fair cabin turns 90

Given the fall of Flash, it has been critical in getting access to video I have lost over the years, though the major networks did a horrible job of keeping archives of their stuff, some of it is still available here.
The Army of Poets and Students Fighting a Forgotten War
I remembering reading about the violence in Burma back in the 80s in – get this – Soldier of Fortune magazine. They did a spread on the Karen militias who were probably about to get wiped out by the military who eventually took over the country a few years later.
Surprise, surprise. Some of them stayed alive, kept the faith, and are now leading the charge to take back Burma.
