I wish I could embed the video but a neat behind-the-scenes look at the Sunday Morning program.

Admiral Ackbar speaks: The Erik Bauersfeld interview – YouTube
Very cool. He didn’t even know why he’s a cult icon since he doesn’t know the movies. Amazing how some folks’ bit work carries much further than they imagine.
How Much Would it Cost to build the Death Star? | Centives

An interesting, if probably flawed in a million ways, accounting of the construction costs of one Death Star.

Cool would be visiting the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. Extra cool would be to get a behind the scenes tour.

Where Are They Now?: 7 Protest Songs With Legs : The Record : NPR
I have always been a bit torn about protest songs. First, most of them are before my time and those who still use the same old songs – not to mention drum circles – seem to be as out of touch as those backward-thinking cretins they are protesting against. Second, other than making you feel good, it often does nothing to advance the cause. Hell, it probably turns off more people than anything.
That said, here are a few songs that have – in the main – stood the test of time.
They may still be of little value, but a lot of good music here at least.

Haley Bonar, Toki Wright and the art of songwriting | Minnesota Public Radio News
This was a pretty good segment on music and writing that I listened to yesterday. I got to hear most of it and have had it on in the background today.
Brad Pitt on “Moneyball,” kids and marriage – CBS News
We just watched “Moneyball” last night. Damn good flick and I recommend it.
So this profile of Brad Pitt fit right into the weekend. You see a lot of these stars and kind of envy the money and fame, but rarely do you genuinely think, “hey, they might be a decent person to hang out with.” And hell, Pitt could probably be putting on another act, but that’s the impression I get with him.
So it is nice to see someone like him succeed given all the obvious rat bastards out there.
The top 25 cult film actors – Den of Geek
I have my issues with this list but more to do with omissions than with who is already on it.
