Admittedly, one of the weirdest things I noticed upon moving here was the bagged milk at the gas stations. I got used to it. Never used it, but got used to it.
But now it is going away. Time marches on.
I mean, there are a lot of reasons I would never vote for a Republican, but this one happened in our state this week.
I have been to Brownsdale, MN and have worked with folks from there. Frankly, this sexist attitude does not surprise me in the least.
“My name is Laura Haynor, and I’m a Minnesota resident and a Minneapolis-based pilot for Delta Airlines,” Haynor said in her introduction.
Almost immediately afterward, Senator Dornink asks, “Can you tell me what a typical work week looks like for you as a stewardess?”
Haynor responded, “I’m a first officer for Delta?”
“I’m sorry?” Dornink asked.
“I’m a pilot.”
Bad look, but that’s about all they have these days, isn’t it?
Surprise, surprise! The Oscars couldn’t see fit to give any awards to Indigenous and Latino voices.
I mean, I stopped watching it years ago but they keep giving reasons not to return.
The now-governor of Nevada lied about the prevalence of ghost guns in Vegas when he was sheriff just so he could keep the violent militia-loving voting block?
Lies over lives. Yeah, he’s a conservative all right.
In trying to recover a story from the same source (which I did *not* accomplish) I found this story about fans of Stranahan’s whiskey pulling volunteer shifts at the plant. Which sounds like a lot of fun actually.
Apparently you gotta be rich to be poor in this state. At least $120,000 a year for a family of four. Nuts.
Imagine that math in the treason states. Sheesh.
I mean, not a life goal, but definitely a list to check out if I am in the area.
I may have posted this before…and likely will again when I run into it. Either way, I like the sentiment.

I mean, I have zero trust about the security of Ring devices after having worked with them in the past, but this is a good default move by the company. More like this please.
