A few good points here and some not-so’s. Still a fun list. Read and discuss.

Crazy Census Conspiracies: Vote For The Most Insane
Considering that conservatives are apparently into assassinating census workers now, this might be in poor taste, but here’s a list of the most insane conspiracy theories the GOP has about the Census Department.
Wired also covers the psycho right wing fringe and it’s fears about missiles targeted at your home and other crap.
Maybe they have a guilty conscience about something?
Wes: The Meat-Stick Bully | Ep. 205 | Bully Beatdown | Full Episode Video | MTV
I gotta say, I just heard about this show and it seems like we’ve found a fun, extreme way to use MMA for some public good. Check out this particular episode to get a feel for the show. You might find yourself as pleasantly surprised as I was.
Cardinals refuse to pay prospect $3.1 million – MLB – Yahoo! Sports
Granted, any team might have done this, but given that it was the stinking Cardinals who raised a kid’s big dream hopes and then took a steaming dump on them, leaving him with nothing, it makes it particularly odious.
I hope the kid becomes a franchise player – anywhere but St. Louis. And in Yankee Stadium of course.
Exploring Akihabara, Tokyo’s Nerd Mecca | GameLife | Wired.com
I’ve only been to Japan once, and only was in Tokyo on a layover. That said, someday I would love to have some spending money to take a proper shopping trip in the Akihabara.

The Cult 25: The Essential Left-Field Movie Hits Since ’83

10 reasons why Windows XP will be around a while | TechRepublic.com
Now, admittedly, I haven’t played with Windows 7 yet, and I actually have heard good things about it, but I’m apparently not anywhere near the only person not in a rush to ditch XP.
Milton Bradley sent home for season (and probably for good) – Big League Stew – MLB – Yahoo! Sports
This is about damn time.
I’ve taken my share of crap from non-Cubs fans for the signing of this jerk. Yeah, talking about you Marcos! Hopefully this is the end of Bradley’s career in Chicago.
Actually, scratch that. I hope the White Sox pick him up.
Incidentally, just finished watching the Cubbies pull a miracle out of the bat bag to avoid the sweep by the Cards. That was nice. But after dropping two to St. Louis, I think I’ve got to face reality and realize the chance of a postseason is pretty much shot. They had to win these games in particular to have a shot at catching up at least on the wild card leaders but to also pressure the Cardinals. Neither happened.
Why Chicago Deserves The 2016 Olympics : NPR
Scott Simon jumps on the bandwagon to have Chicago host the 2016 Olympics.
Hey, I love the idea. I’d love to have Gabriel see such a spectacle AND show him a city I love at the same time.
