Granted I still use floppies to a limited extent, mostly while ghosting fresh images quickly. So, while a tad premature, here’s a send off to a very nearly dead technology.

We’re not out of the woods yet. According to Richard Clarke, we are woefully unprepared for the next phase in electronic warfare.

No doubt “electing” a Talibangelical Luddite didn’t help.

Here is Bush’s former Director of National Intelligence (wow, talk about a heckuvajob kinda guy) still trying to turn somewhat valid fears into ways to spy on Americans and earn profits for his pals.

Seriously, where do these guys get off calling themselves patriots when they are all about trading freedom for profits?
