Two stories this week concerning our increasingly mechanized military.
The first one involves self-driving supply trucks that allow the humans riding in it to spend their time looking for roadside bombs.
Personally, I’d reverse the roles but it’s progress I guess.
Next story is a tad scarier. The Brits have basically built a Cylon Raider which they call the Taranis. Read up on it here.

So, um, now you know how Google works.
Republicans shouldn’t be allowed on the internet. Don’t believe me? Here is my latest example. Seriously, every time these clowns roll out a new internet initiative, it fails stupendously.
This just goes along with other things conservatives should be kept from. Like bombs, children, science, education, etc.
Granted I still use floppies to a limited extent, mostly while ghosting fresh images quickly. So, while a tad premature, here’s a send off to a very nearly dead technology.
We’re not out of the woods yet. According to Richard Clarke, we are woefully unprepared for the next phase in electronic warfare.
No doubt “electing” a Talibangelical Luddite didn’t help.
