Granted, I’ve watched cricket and some of it still baffles me, but that sport and baseball still have a lot in common. A new exhibit focuses on those similarities.

Also, some info on how to watch the games on a variety of media. Wired has a similar list.
Chicago Cubs’ Owner Wants To Reverse History : NPR
It is nice to see that there is a face behind the Cub’s ownership these days. I wish Mr. Ricketts all the best with his team. After all those years of Tribune ownership, it felt more like a business than a labor of love from the top. Let’s hope that changes for the long term.
Now, if we can just get to playing above .500 ball, I’d be REALLY happy.
Braden’s Mother’s Day gift is perfect
A week late, but this is a cool story. First Dallas Braden calls out A-Rod for his rudeness and then he pitches a perfect game within a couple weeks.
And then he did Letterman’s Top Ten.
Gotta like this guy. Even if he’s pitching in the AL.
Baseball should pull the 2011 All-Star game from Phoenix
One of the best arguments for moving the All-Star game next year.
Castro and Moyer prove that both young and old can set records
This is what I like about baseball, anything can happen and to anybody.
MLB’s silence on immigration law puzzling and disappointing – Melissa Segura – SI.com
Yet another call for Bud Selig and Major League Baseball to say something, anything on the Aryzona Gestapo law.
And here’s a sadly appropriate look at the issue:

Yes, those are actual crayons you can buy for your kids. Wish I had some when I was a little one.
Fireworks send Lastings Milledge into an ill-fated home-run trot – Big League Stew – MLB Blog – Yahoo! Sports
Sure, the Cubs lost this game, but they sure they heck look like idiots in this game.
Lesson here? Play the game. Run the bases. Don’t be stupid.
Baseball Feels the Social Media Heat on Arizona’s Immigration Law | onPhilanthropy
More on how Major League Baseball is getting an earful for it’s silence on the issue.
Granted, the Player’s Association has made it’s disgust known and that’s a good thing. But scumbag Bud Selig is as silent as he is bereft of morals on any other issue.
I don’t expect anything I want to hear from him, but just say something dirtbag!
