Don’t get me wrong, I like Al Franken. But I know I missed something about the era of Paul Wellstone. You could tell it even from being on the outside. He’s been gone 11 years now and you can still feel the loss up here.

Nice to see him coming back from the darkness.

The best part is they hyped up some glossy BJ to Marco Rubio and then undermined it (not that it was hard to do) with a story on a man who had a true sense of what it took to be a man, a father, and an American. The contrast was obvious.

I missed catching Henry Rollins when he was nearby last fall. Don’t worry, I *always* seem to miss catching Rollins do an appearance, no matter where I live.
