NFL will remove ‘End Racism’ from the end zones ahead of Super Bowl

Remember back in 2019 when the Navy covered up the name of the John S. McCain so as not to offend Trump’s fragile ego? Yeah, this is a lot like that.

The NFL is not going to use the “End Racism” slogan at the edge of the end zone like they’ve been doing since 2020 because Trump wants to go the Super Bowl.

Not a single institution in this nation has the spine to stand up against this racist. Not one. We deserve whatever is coming I guess.

We are gonna do a movie marathon instead on Sunday. Fuck these enabling shits.

Boycotting Target because of its DEI policies is going to hurt. That’s the point.

Cutting off the Target shopping isn’t easy. And it may not be completely possible depending on where you live. But give it some consideration. Even a reduction in what you get there…and just cutting out the impulse purchases is the death by a thousand cuts approach.

Either way, what you do to spend your values is your call.

Twin Cities Pride Nearly Doubles Fundraising Goal in Days

It was a huge risk for TC Pride to get rid of Target after it decided to join the bigots in the White House. Losing, at minimum, $50,000 in sponsorship money is a serious decision to make.

That said, crisis averted, and nearly even doubled in the days since that decision. It may not be long-term sustainable at the moment, but so glad folks stepped up to make it happen.

Millions of Americans Don’t Have Documents Proving Their Citizenship Readily Available

First off, you are being dangerously negligent if your paperwork is not up to date.

Racist fascists are in power. You should have the ability to bail out if necessary. Get it done.

On the other hand, making it harder to vote is just the prelude to getting rid of democracy. This is exactly that.

That said, making rabid racists have to get a passport is just funny. Less money for golden gaudy sneakers I guess.

Why some Minnesota law enforcement agencies will not follow Trump’s mass deportation plan

Now, I’m not saying I trust law enforcement – I mean, they are the ones who backed the felons who killed George Floyd and hundreds of others while wearing a badge – but their public leaders are promising to stand against the racists in power.

We’ll see, of course, but at least they are saying the right things. Today at least.
