Nevada’s Brian Sandoval catching fire for comments on his kids and Arizona’s immigration law | Top of the Ticket | Los Angeles Times

Turns out that even when the GOP finds a non-white to run fo office, they are too busy trying to be white to bring any diversity to the table. The following comes from the guy wanting to be Nevada’s next governor, Republican Brian Sandoval, who can’t decide whether he wants to hype his race or not.

After being asked a hypothetical question about how he would feel if his children were targeted in Aryzona-style fashion, we receive this response:

“My children don’t look Hispanic.”

So, he’s okay with a racial profiling law since his kids look white? Wow, that’s just sounds like standard GOP rhetoric. “There’s no racism because I haven’t seen any and don’t give me facts to the contrary.”

Some other “compassionate conservatives” in Utah published the names, addresses, and – in the cases of pregnant women – due dates of likely undocumented migrants in their state.

Hey! Nothing like sending your angry tea baggers to kill a brown baby that would be an American if allowed to live. And yes, that is EXACTLY the motive in those cases.

In both those instances, the perps were LDS members. This is not to say every member of that church is an evil, racist prick. You could single out any conservative religious mob for having that ilk in it’s midst. I know plenty of decent human beings that are Mormon that don’t subscribe to that kind of hate. That said, the slush fund for Prop 8 *was* helped by the church.

No, other conservative twits abound, regardless of religious affiliation.

Old-ish news, but there’s a farmer in Missouri who painted a sign on a semi trailer, denouncing Democrats as “parasites”.

Now, some folks lit said trailer on fire – twice. This is wrong, even if this hate is on the side of an interstate. It’s his land and his right to be an a-hole. I guess.

The fun part here is that said angry farmer who is pissed about people taking in below minimum wage welfare payments is himself a leech on the system, for the price of over a million dollars in farm subsidies.

Look, if folks on welfare are parasites, million dollar subsidy babies like him are full-blown leech colonies. Plus, he’s some kind of scam artist that fleeced new parents in a baby crib scheme.

Nice guy. But no worse than the rest of his party really.

Aryzona School Demands Black & Latino Students’ Faces On Mural Be Changed To White

Remember where you were, when you could still laugh about teabaggers and racists and Arizonans, because funny time is almost over. If the unemployment keeps up — one in five adult white males has no job and will never have a job again — and people keep walking away from their stucco heaps they can’t afford and the states and cities and counties and towns keep passing their aggressive racist laws to rile up the trash even more, shit’s going to very soon become very bad, and whether it’s the National Guard having wars in the Sunbelt Exurbs against armies of crazy old white people who are finally using their hundreds of millions of guns, or whole Latino neighborhoods burned to the ground the way the Klan used to burn down black neighborhoods a century ago, we are in for a long dark night and no light-colored paint is going to fix that.

Yes, the school has since backtracked this crazy BS decision, but the anger lingers. How dare these bastards lighten the skin of a mural of their own students?

This makes me absolutely livid. It is bad enough that in general Republicans, Tea Baggers, Klansmen and generic conservative racists hate people based on the color of their skin, or religion, or sexuality, or gender. It is worse that these cretins try to steal votes from folks they don’t agree with or do a multiple of sins to diminish folks. Often they do this in the name of God, which should make for an interesting line-up at the afterlife but I want their evils punished in the hear and now. For Aryzona, they didn’t need another black eye, but they earned it.

Look, racists shout ugly things. When the last two racists on Earth exist, they’ll be white Americans riding together in a rusty El Camino yelling hateful crap drinking Mexican beer out of a 40 oz. and being completely unaware of the irony.

You do NOT kowtow to these bastards. And you certainly do NOT tell your minority kids that their color isn’t good enough for a mural and try to literally whitewash their skin.

The racists are just idiots. The school administrators should have known better. Hell, all of Aryzona should know better.
