Rethugs think that showing up to a rally in a public park constitutes the same act of protest as an act of civil disobedience on a military/corporate shipyard and then get offended when their term of choice is better known in this day and age as a sex act.

Both concepts equally show the logical and moral bankrupty of the Republican Party.

I am glad the President is now using the common derogatory term for what are, frankly, idiots and traitors to this nation.

I am glad the Democrats may be in danger of growing a spine. Why continue to be bullied by a party full of assholes too chicken to serve in our military or too spoiled to actually perform their duty when they actually do weasel into a stateside Guard unit?

Dick Cheney is a chickenhawk too timid to wear our nation’s uniform when called to do so during the draft. Seriously, damned near ALL the major GOP twits did everything they could to not serve this nation. They only pretend to do it now so they can get great corporate board perks on the side.

So, if you or I had never put on a uniform, military or police and they lied to the nation’s elite police force SEVENTY TWO TIMES about how you or I outed a freaking CIA agent for God’s sake, you or I would probably be immediately beaten with a rubber hose, beaten repeatedly whenever any cop had a bad day, and likely be imprisoned for life if we were lucky. We actually probably get shot as a traitor.

Dick Cheney? He’s not in prison. He’s free as a bird and still telling lies about a host of other shit. But he’s never been punished for lying to the police. And that’s beyond any level of wrong you can think of in a fair and just society, which we apparently don’t live in.

What is clear is that calling someone a fascist delves into muddy waters. What is for sure though, a fascist is definitely not a liberal. You are either talking about racists, or corporate-owned government types who hate democracy, or just general jingoistic thugs.

While this may not necessarily mean the GOP is fascist – at least applies to every Republican – it sure as hell makes it a useless tag to put on most Democrats, particularly the President.

Granted, most of you probably already knew this, but I just wanted an authoritative source to add more proof that whoever is running or ramrodding the GOP are complete idiots divorced from reality, logic, or truth.

He’s against the recent expansion of hate crimes to cover sexual orientation, but not just for the knee-jerk gay bashing that Republicans are famous for.

No, his problem is, partly, that hate crimes law somehow constitutes some kind of Minority Report-style “thought police” that will incarcerate people for just imagining crimes against women, minorities, gays, and Muslims.

I could see his point. If this were true, the state governments of Texas, hell, the whole South, Plains, and Alaska would grind to a standstill.

But his real objection is that some rabid, angry Hate Jesus-loving pastor could be arrested for preaching things such as, oh, I dunno, sermons such as “Why I Hate Barack Obama” which inspire people to pack assault weapons to political protests.

Look, assholes, Timothy McVeigh listened to crap like this. So do all those militias seeing a comeback these days. Or the “Minutemen” vigilantes.

Put a stop to it and actually try to help fix the problem. Because, honestly, if you HAVE to count on these people to get elected, maybe you shouldn’t be involved in politics. Ya know?
