Interesting graphical take on the monster we all seem to share.

Part of our winter fun is chasing the Minnesota Krampus group around the Cities. Little did we know that it is becoming more and more of a seasonal thing elsewhere too.
Granted, I am not sure I can make a 12-foot skeleton into a Krampus, plant him on the roof and have him whipping elves in the yard just yet…but maybe?

I don’t have the time, space, or money to build a droid and keep it running, but I love reading about the folks who do.
This is a fun project I read about a few years ago. Turns out, the work continues on it. Check out his Instagram page for more.

I love these guys. They seem to have a lot of fun crafting their machines. We used to catch them at the Maker Faires they used to hold at the state fairgrounds.
Nice to see them still doing the work.

We usually roll up on this big ol’ loon at night and in traffic so haven’t been able to get too many good shots of it. And only recently did it have lighting. That said, it is pretty cool and hopefully no one misses the McDonalds it replaced that much. I don’t.
There is a lot of discussion about where Musk got the design idea for his Wankpanzer.
But sometimes the simplest answer is best. It is meant to be the modern version of an Apartheid era terror vehicle. Simply put, he wants it to be used to put minorities “in their rightful place” as does just about anything Republicans do.

I love this for the monsters running China. They wanted our personal data, they accidentally got a breach of the Great Firewall. Hope it spreads like wildfire.
The Star Tribune did a similar story months ago but I couldn’t share because, well, paywall nonsense. So here is an update of Wellstone’s bus, which has just been sitting in a field for the past too many years.
Apparently you may be able to see it on the road in the near-ish future.
Here is a KSTP story I missed:
And a documentary on the bus from almost 20 years ago:
