Where the hell was this when Gabriel was born?

Alright, so Modern Met has led me to Yanko. Expect more posts related to stuff I find on both sites in the near future.
If these ever become reality, I’m definitely keeping a couple in the car just in case.

So, I’ve been on a few cruise ships and have had that moment at sea where I wondered what the hell would happen if the damn thing sprung a leak. Sure, they show you where your escape ship is and all – and yes, I was only in the Caribbean – but that somehow didn’t seem to be enough for me.
That’s why I really, really like this water distilling buoy thingy. If they had these on the ships I have been on, I’d probably had kept one in my cabin or attached to me at all times.

As the title states, these are designs for weapons using items found in a corporate office environment.
Don’t go shooting each other’s eyes out all at once folks.

I’m a sucker for huge machines. This photo series does not disappoint.

First I mention the Chinese are helping the Saudis build a high speed train system, and now the Japanese have a freaking space ship.
It’s no Millennium Falcon but the H-II Transfer Vehicle is a damn cool look at the future of space travel. One that we apparently aren’t going to be a part of as NASA’s budget for manned missions was recently slashed.
Pity. Cocky American pilots was the only thing that was going to make space travel cool.

I’m a sucker for the Ghost Adventures show. If you haven’t seen it, it’s three guys who basically hunt for ghosts using gear like this.
Yeah, it could all be a big hoax, but it sure is fun to watch.
