First I mention the Chinese are helping the Saudis build a high speed train system, and now the Japanese have a freaking space ship.
It’s no Millennium Falcon but the H-II Transfer Vehicle is a damn cool look at the future of space travel. One that we apparently aren’t going to be a part of as NASA’s budget for manned missions was recently slashed.
Pity. Cocky American pilots was the only thing that was going to make space travel cool.

I’m a sucker for the Ghost Adventures show. If you haven’t seen it, it’s three guys who basically hunt for ghosts using gear like this.
Yeah, it could all be a big hoax, but it sure is fun to watch.
So…the Prius is selling like mad and we’re basically selling a military vehicle design to China. because GM is broke. Genius!

Then again, the total discrediting of floor mounted dimmers is just insulting. I loved those!
Not a lot of things make me feel old. I mean, why should I? But this article (and this one too) kind of makes you stop and think about all the stuff that we take for granted that goes away. I knew I saw less of these things the last time I was in Mexico, but now they will probably just be a memory in a few years.

In other news, I’ve finally decided to work on the website a bit. Not that you will notice anything fantastic, but I am getting some of the pages updated from the old (or even older) formats. Stick around, I may even actually add content.
