“George W. Bush’s memoir is coming out in November. It’s called ‘Decision Points’ and it’s about big decisions in his life. I’ve already made a decision not to read it.”

As I’ve mentioned a couple times, I have recently rediscovered my cast iron skillet and basically knock out a breakfast in it every weekend. Here are some tips on getting your’s.
Also, when you get it – and you really should – here are more tips on seasoning your cast iron gear and on keeping it clean. No soap please!

This was just a fun read.
I remember the time my dad was considering buying a Yugo for a work car. He didn’t when both door handles broke off when he went to test drive it.
Classic.
The US isn’t the only place where we kick those who are already down.
Read this. More about the madness in Aryzona.
In a nutshell, you can’t learn about anything but white history in Aryzona.
Oh, and if you have an accent – whatever that means – you can’t teach people English.
Presumably this won’t be applied to, say, white Texans teaching English.

When I get the time, I love to cook. One of things I could improve on is figuring out how to use the wide variety of condiments and spices to improve food in small but significant ways. Here’s a quick look at some of the various salt options and how to use them.
Republicans don’t care if you were born here. They just want to deport anyone who is brown. Hey, Hunter, my mom wasn’t a citizen when I was born. Come on over here and try to deport ME, punk.
Fun list. Some tweaking may be required. No Data from Goonies?
Apparently some folks think it is legal to create a subclass of humans based solely on race. That’s the Aryzona solution.
Here’s one sportswriter who wants to move the All-Star Game out of Arizona next year. I agree with the sentiment and hope it happens.
Here’s another article on the protest the Diamondbacks are getting as they travel around the country. It is sad that every player is having to get yelled at for this, but the team’s owners are huge GOP backers and presumably for this. So, like all business boycotts, the line workers suffer the anger. In this case, very well paid line workers, but it is still shitty.
We’ve got a lot of states praising treasonous history and thinking about institutionalized racism like Aryzona’s. It’s a damn shame this is how some of our country wants to behave. You would wish us to be better than this.
