Now I don’t eat much fish, at all, but that doesn’t mean I want others to not have any. In a two part interview on Fresh Air this week, the problem of overfishing was discussed. So, if you or I had never put on a uniform, military or police and they lied to the nation’s elite police force SEVENTY TWO TIMES about how you or I outed a freaking CIA agent for God’s sake, you or I would probably be immediately beaten with a rubber hose, beaten repeatedly whenever any cop had a bad day, and likely be imprisoned for life if we were lucky. We actually probably get shot as a traitor.
Dick Cheney? He’s not in prison. He’s free as a bird and still telling lies about a host of other shit. But he’s never been punished for lying to the police. And that’s beyond any level of wrong you can think of in a fair and just society, which we apparently don’t live in.
