First off, Google has teamed up with the US Holocaust Memorial Museum to focus on the genocide in Darfur. Check it out on Google Earth as a layer. So, kudos to them for that.
That said, Google Maps has decided to revert to pre-Katrina maps for its views of the Gulf Coast. Other than George Bush trying to whitewash his inaction in this area, who gains from this?
Cover the worldwide disaster, but cover up for the feds in a national disaster? Despicable.
