Hate is a four letter word

"As an American I am ashamed that such a man represents me."

- Paul Begala, on George Bush's insanity

First, we welcome Paul Begala back - at least temporarily - to the Democratic Party.

Bush compared Obama's willingness to talk to leaders of countries who do not like us, namely most of them since Bush got into office, to the actions of Nazi appeasers. Now, coming from Bomb-all-the-Brown-People Bush, that is not much of a surprise. Then again, even he has chosen talk over warfare ever so often, as the link to Begala's statement clearly shows.

The worst part for the future of our country? That shitheel McCain agrees (naturally) with Bush. Seriously, do NOT vote for that imbecile.

That said, Bush shouldn't be bringing up Nazi appeasers. His grandpappy Prescott's Hamburg-American line was investigated for pushing Nazi propaganda. Plus, he was apparently involved in the Business Plot to overthrow FDR and the US government and install a fascist regime modeled on Hitler's Germany. Some of his business interests were taken by the US government by right of the Trading with the Enemy Act for conducting business with the Nazis.

So, um, you know, Bush apparently knows all about appeasing Nazis. His family got rich off of it.

Still not all is well in Democratic lands either. NARAL Pro-Choice endorsed Obama, and immediately pissed off a lot of feminists who still believe Hillary has a chance.

Here is one odious quote...

And in a phone conversation, Marcia Pappas, the head of National Organization of Women, New York -- who famously accused Ted Kennedy for betraying women by endorsing Obama -- would not even commit to supporting the Illinois Democrat in the general election.

"It is disappointing that an organization that stands up for the rights of women would rush to this type of judgment, especially when we only have three weeks left. And I would wonder what criteria they used to make that judgment, based on the fact that [Obama] chose seven times to vote present," she said. "We certainly know that John McCain is not good on women's rights and we hope that Barack Obama is better on it, but it remains to be seen when we have a candidate who did not stand firm when he could have done so."

...and then some commenters who are justifiably pissed in return.

"WOW. So just because Hillary isn't making it to the general election you're willing to sit it out and give McCain an edge? You're willing to turn back Roe v. Wade because you felt it was a disrespect to your girl Hillary to vote for a man? What kind of backwards feminism is this? This isn't even feminism, it's just plain stupidity. These are the kind of "feminists" that hold every free thinking and free willed woman back."

"Question is: will these people repudiate Sen. Obama for a man who calls his own wife a c*nt in front of the press? If that's feminism, count me out."
