The Best Friends network emailed me today about asking Senator Obama to seriously consider using a rescue agency instead of a puppy mill if the future First Family is looking for a dog.
Granted, I find it silly that anyone running for president HAS to have a dog, but hopefully they can find a pet that the entire family will love.
We got our dog Mono-kun through Best Friends and he has, of course, been nothing but great. Solid folks and as good a cause as any if the future First Family is looking for a pet.
So, if you would, spread the word and sign the petition and hopefully this all works out for some lucky dog and the Obama family.
