Conservatives are pissed off that their anti-freedom laws are losing in court. They are of the opinion that the Iowa Supreme Court is full of "judicial activists", which is the neocon term for judges who do their job.
I'm not sure what they call judges who actually *do* bend our laws to enforce Republican means. You know, like jump into a state election system and force through a President without bothering to count all the votes. For instance.
Basically, I applaud the Iowa Supreme Court. I doubt most, many or even one of them are raging liberals of pro-gay activists. It wouldn't matter if they all were. I do think they saw an injustice and a group of people deprived of their rights. And they fixed the error while rising above the politics of it.
THAT is how judges should do their jobs.
Too bad the ass clowns who want to ban other religions, other languages, other points of view in general don't see it that way. Too bad so-called Christians are into persecuting everyone who doesn't ardently agree with them 110%. Too bad the world thinks THESE idiots are what all Americans are like.
Screw their bigotry and hate. Reject it when you see it. Vote it out of office whenever you can. Attend a church that preaches love, not fear. We can marginalize these fools. Indeed, we must if we are to be the nation we deserve to be.
