In short, no one has EVER escaped from SuperMax prisons. Also, Republicans didn't fear holding over 400,000 Nazis during WWII. So why the big hangup over a couple thousand Muslim extremists now? I mean, the GOP was a racist as the Third Reich then, and as reactionary as al-Qaeda now. Shouldn't they be welcoming their brothers-in-arms?
