Legislation pending in Georgia would make it a crime to have a miscarriage. Not just any old crime either, a charge potentially punishable by death.

Any family who has had to deal with a miscarriage can attest to how painful it is. To have some Talibangelical bureaucrat play religious police and haul your wife off to prison to be executed? Yeah, that just doesn't belong in America. Ever.
