Think Progress » O’Reilly Upset Over 9/11 Trials: ‘I Don’t Care About The Constitution!’

“I don’t care about the Constitution!”

– Bill O’Reilly

From the party that gave you “Stop throwing the Constitution in my face. It’s just a goddamned piece of paper!” (that’s their Rethug hero Bush hard at work) comes Bill O’Reilly foaming at the mouth and freaking on the prospect of actually using the justice system to try the folks behind 9/11.

You know, like civilized people do?

Nah, this mix of theocracy-loving zealots and civil rights abusing racists (really, on paper, is there ANY difference between the GOP and al-Qaeda?) hates the idea of giving the guys that killed our citizens their day in court.

I mean, hell, they had NO issues with Papa Reagan taking in EVERY murderer in Castro’s prisons but they are afraid of a couple hundred pseudo-Muslim douchebags.

I means, even FAUXNews’ pet lawyer think trying these guys in New York is both proper and legal.

Basically, aside from the obvious fearmongering, these idiots don’t have a leg to stand on.

YouTube – Frank Schaeffer warns against fundamentalist christians wanting to harm President Obama

The Republicans want Obama to die. Violently apparently.

Their latest attempt at violent sedition is the Psalm 109:8 bumper sticker.

Psalm 109:8 goes like this:

Let his days be few; and let another take his office.

And then there’s the following verse:

Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.

Yep, sure sounds like they are begging for an assassin from their ranks.

Frank Schaeffer calls out the treasonous bastards:

“Most Americans will just see the bumper-sticker and smile and think that it’s facetious…

What surprises me is that responsible (if you can put it that way) Republican leadership, and the editors of some of these Christian magazines, etc., etc., do not stand up in holy horror and denounce this.

You know, they’re always asking: where is the Islamic leadership denouncing terrorism?”

And this is a beautiful wrap-up of the whole evil concept:

Trusting, faithful Christians are, it seems, being led astray by those with clearly political, anti-American agendas cloaked in carefully selected bible verses while waving American flags. Those who seek to create chaos and violence are neither Christian nor patriotic. They prey upon our most trusting, by manipulating scriptures for their own aggrandizement while accusing their counterparts overseas for engaging in the same selfish, godless goals.

Fox News’s faux news | Brad Friedman | guardian.co.uk

It is with a sense of both shame and bemusement that we now witness good Americans agitated and drafted into protests over the very policies that the Republican failure has itself created and supported uncritically for years: record government expansion and deficits; massive Big Brother invasion of privacy; bureaucratic intrusion between patients and doctors; corporate bailouts courtesy of taxpayer largesse….

The list goes on and on, but the frothing teabaggers protest as if the last eight years never happened. Rather, these poor saps were presented with a phony version of reality produced with Hollywood-style special effects and distractions (missing blonds, steroids in baseball, terrorists around every corner, non-existent voter fraud). Now these confused souls roam the streets, town halls and email lists as clueless zombies, unaware of who and what they are fighting for (government-supported corporatocracy) or against (their own self-interest).

Even the Brits now see what a danger FAUXNews is.

Only a couple comments

Once again, more sound reason from Reddit:

Why are people surprised that Palin is lying in her book? Its title is ‘Going Rogue’ – ‘rogue’ is a ‘dishonest or worthless person’ according to Merriam- Webster

– submitted by epsilona01

Followed by the definition from Merriam-Webster (emphasis mine):

Main Entry: rogue Pronunciation: \ˈrōg\ Function: noun Etymology: origin unknown Date: 1561

1 : vagrant, tramp
2 : a dishonest or worthless person : scoundrel

3 : a mischievous person : scamp
4 : a horse inclined to shirk or misbehave
5 : an individual exhibiting a chance and usually inferior biological variation

In short, this racist rabble-rouser and mental lightweight has nothing to tell me and I truly wish the morons on TV would stop talking about this fool.
