Leryn Franco is a professional model and was runner up in the 2006 Miss Paraguay competition and Miss Bikini Universe pageant.

I have got to watch the javelin events from here on out.

Critics a-Twitter over Meghan McCain's racy pic

This is a sad, sad world. So, Meghan McCain, Torture Lover's kid, posted a pic up on Twitpic and is getting reamed by her Talibangelical fan base for it. Enough so, that she has since pulled the pic and apologized for basically revealing a candid look into her life of...reading books on the couch.

Yeah, that's it. You'd think she'd have posed nude in a goat show or something for the response she got.

Look, I probably wouldn't agree with 95% of the things in Miss Meghan's head at any time, but after she got reamed for being "too fat" by conservatives earlier, I sure don't want to be part of the club that bludgeons her for her looks. Besides, she seems at least more reasonable than the rest of the cretins in her party. Not that I want her to run for anything, mind.

Plus, she's kinda cute. Or at least hasn't had her looks ruined by that permanent angry scowl conservatives get. You know, like her step mom Cindy.

Esquire does this most of a year long guessing game with it's readers and they usually pick someone for their Sexiest Woman Alive issue that is both attractive and interesting. This year's pick qualifies, even if you have to forgive some of the crap movies she's been in of late.

We were actually at the Hofbrauhaus on Friday, when Holly Madison was there. We didn't get to meet her but one of my co-workers got a picture with her, which is pretty much why folks live in Vegas, ya know?

I'm still waiting for my celebrity pic but I'm sure it is bound to happen.

Alright, so this is a bit beyond my usual postings but I really liked the take that SbB did with the subject. In short, the lady below is Lolo Jones, an Olympic hurdler, and she is posing in the ESPN "Body Issue", in the nude as you can clearly see. What's cool about this article is that it deals with her looks as objectively as the site can - I mean, it *is* written by somewhat mean-spirited sports guys.

But truly, here's someone who looks great through exercise and hard work, not by starving herself or doing injections or implants. She is thinner than most "real" women, but that's due to her job, not by any expectations or outside pressure. So, good for her, good for ESPN for putting her in the issue, and good for SportsbyBrooks for handling the subject like adults. Yes, she's attractive, but more for her merits than her looks. If only the world worked this way more often.
